I Care Story

I Care started as a traveling college ministry that was birth in 2006 in Hammond IN. Our focus was and still remains to fill voids that have never been touched. We traveled ministering to young people across the Midwest, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowering young people to advance in their lives through knowing Christ. From there God spoke to our leader Apostle A. Love to establish a place of stability for people to call their own. This place became a safe place for so many. Around 2009 God shifted the direction of I Care Ministries to move from Hammond IN to Blooming IN to its permanent location. This became a whole movement our focus was expanded to becoming a place where family matters beginning with the individual. This move put the ministry in the heart of what God spoke to the founder to build. The first service in Bloomington 50 people connected with the ministry as we launch out in a new place. Overtime, I Care grew in membership, created community outreach, and partnerships with local businesses. Through theses connections the ministry was able to provide mentorship, feeding programs, youth events, and family activities as well as our regularly scheduled Worship experiences. In 2015 I Care launched another location in Grand Rapids MI and shifted from I Care Ministries to I Care Church. This move lasted for a short while. Then God shifted the church again in 2019 to where we are now Niles MI where we are experiencing the favor of God on and in our ministry. It is our goal to continue the vision set forth by our leadership. We are positioning our selves to be a pillar in the community that people look to as a safe space. Our goal is to see Jesus glorified and souls saved and baptized. Also we are in the works of creating food pantries, youth mentoring center, a performing arts academy and a counseling center for families. Our leader has also launched a fellowship " I Care Nation" a connection for young pastors navigating this journey alone. There are so many things that God is allowing us to walk into as a ministry.
